Check out the attached website:

It is the unofficial gripe board for the employees in Caesars Indiana. Moral here is very low, rules change at the drop of a hat. There is no job protection, 75 % of PTO days are denied (most of us haven't seen a Saturday off in over a year, heck we can't even get a Wednesday off). They put a camera in our EDR to make sure we pay our $2 for inedible food (someone recently found a LIVE worm in their fish)! Plus a lot of things too numerous to mention.

One of our main problems is that we are almost all break-in dealers. Few of us have worked in the casino industry for more than one year, and all of that time has been here at Caesars. In response to any question asked all we get from management is 'that is how the casino business works' or 'it was a business FYI, Caesars In.

Operating hours are 9 am to 3am or 5 am, in one pit we come in at 12'.3Opm on Sunday, no swing shift is scheduled to relieve us... so if the pit is busy we are required to stay as late as 11 PM. I do not object to occasional unplanned overtime, but this is our regular schedule! When asked by our loved ones when we will get home, we must reply "sometime between 7 and midnight"!

We have no collective voice to speak with management. Our toke committee does not wish to do this. We flounder in ignorance and lack of leadership. We have been sold twice since this property opened. Company policy changes on a daily basis.  But, I ramble a bit.

Take a look at the website, wade through all the garbage, and see the level of moral. if you approached now, you might be able to get a foothold and we would have a resource with knowledge of the casino industry.   Personally, I am considering a 50% paycut to get a job with security and some consideration for the employee.

Signed:

A Fed Up Dealer
