Hey there!

First of all I would like to make a suggestion......when sending out mass mailings could you please use the BCC field? By putting (XXX) around the recipients e-mail addresses, you can send them things with anonymity.

Secondly, being relatively new in the industry I have some questions that some one who is as experienced as yourself might be able to answer.

It is my understanding that recently the Indiana Gaming Commission approved "take your own tokes" for poker dealers only. Since Caesars IN does have a poker room with a continuously growing clientele this could impact our little "family". Currently, poker and dealer tokes are combined. In the opening months of the casino, they were kept separate, but the dealers voted to combine them. At that point, poker was making less per hour than the dealers. Now there are a lot of the poker dealers that want to go back to the separation, or even to take your own. My questions are....

  1) Is it the industry "standard" that the only game to have take your own is poker?

  2) Could this not be construed as discriminatory to those dealers who do not deal poker?

  3) Should we go to "take your own" on poker...would it be fair to assume that the poker dealers deal nothing but poker and therefore cannot "leach" the toke pool for the rest of the dealers? (This is a biggie since yesterday the poker room had 10 dealers during the day and only 2 games open....which did waste our toke dollars since none of them were "cut loose" and were giving a lot of pushes.)

I am sending this question out to casino dealers on-line also so that hopefully I can get a variety of input from it.

Thanks for any help that you may be able to give me!
