I am a dealer at Harrahs Casino in North Kansas City,
Missouri. Several non-smoking dealers have recently had an
exchange with management over smoking issues in our casino. The
response from our GM to those concerns glossed over the problem
and even implied that the person who originally raised them was
lying about the respiratory problems he was experiencing.
I would be interested in any information you might be able
to provide regarding your efforts to improve the 2nd hand smoke
situation for Nevada dealers, as well as info on how your class
action lawsuit is coming. I am certain any info from you would
carry an intimidation factor, as we are not organized and
management is terrified of any indication that that might happen.
If I can assist your efforts in any way, please let me
know.
