I have been
a dealer for 15 years. I enjoy working with the public, although
it can be strenuous. It is the bosses that are the problem. That
is why I think we need the union. Dealers have been unorganized
for years, I can't see and end to the situation in the near
future.
There are
still women sleeping with the (enemy) bosses for favors and days
off. I can't see that this will come to an end either. If we
become organized it will not be because we did it ourselves. It
will be because someone stepped in and organized things for us. It
is a shame that women still live in the dark ages.
It is just
as dehumanizing when a man plays golf and does pretty much the
same thing to get what he wants. It will be a long time before we
stop back stabbing and eye gouging to get where we want. At this
point only God can help us. But, what if you don't believe in God?
