Dear Sir:
With respect to this article (Who Owns The Float), I worked
on the Empress River Casino in Illinois a few years ago. And this
subject was taken to the authorities and consequently the company
had to pay all the employees back wages based on the time served
and the interest earned.
I personally
received a check in the amount of $8,000. You're right, not enough
to retire on, but it certainly did brighten my Christmas. Thought
you might like to know of this precedent.
