I would like to know if anyone has had any luck with repetitive strain injury claims?  I have a rotor cuff injury in the shoulder because of dealing for five years and the casino says that our job is not repetitive and is not causing the injury..  How do other dealers handle the pain and has anyone out there won their claims with worker's comp?  Please respond. We need help.

If you check through our web site in the Letters and in NFGE News, you'll find some information about RMS. The bottom line is that the casinos will always try to deny that it's work related because to do otherwise would cost them money.

First thing to do is to contact OSHA. They are under the U.S. Dept. of Labor. Eventually, you may also need a lawyer but you must be tenacious. These casinos will try to stonewall you in hopes you'll just give up. Stick with it.

By the way, where do you work? Write me, you can give me your name......it will always be held in confidence.

Regards,
Jack
