JUPITERS CASINO STAFF TO HOLD MARCH AND RALLY
STAFF LOCKED OUT BY CASINO - SATURDAY
Casino gaming staff at the Queensland Gold Coast Jupiter Casino
will today march onto their workplace because their employer has
locked them out of their workplaces, just because they dared to
wear union badges at work.
As each shift comes on today LHMU Casino Union members wearing
badges backing the campaign for better wages and conditions are
being locked out.
The lock-outs started on Friday night, the most profitable
night of the week.
Jupiters Casino, the biggest Casino in Queensland, started locking
out union members because they were wearing badges backing the
LHMU campaign for a fair wages deal.
LHMU Casino Union members are NOW congregating in the staff car
park to begin a march onto their workplace at 12.30pm Queensland
time.
The LHMU proudly represents more than150,000 working women and men
throughout Australia.

I disagree with the lockout of employees at Jupiters, Australia.
You are placing a dark cloud over the entire PPE Corporation and
you are tarnishing your image. Respect your employees.
