There would be favoritism who got the best tables if they didn't pool tips.  And who do you bribe to make sure that you get to make a living for the day.  Where I worked they  had certain people that would work high limits all the time.  You can't make a living on a $5 table.  And you can't make a living if you are stuck on a $100 dead table!  Pooling tips is alright with me!  I have had days that I made $700 for 3 days in a row.  But I have had days that I made almost nothing because of cheap people!  Customer service, smiles, friendly....It didn't matter....we are in a cheap area!

By the way, just to share with you.....I worked showboat in East Chicago, Indiana and then it was sold to Harrah's.  What a mistake...they are crooks.  It was agreed that we will get vacation pay with tokes.  Well, they had the dealers sign toke by-laws which violated the labor laws and then two weeks later they started firing people and keeping their earned vacation time.  What is wrong with this picture?  It is called a $500,000 (or more) white collar crime...getting their hands in the dealers money by cheating them out of their earned income!  DON'T PATRONIZE HARRAHS
