"COMMUNICATION
WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE"
To all the Pit People out there, dealers and
floorpeople alike, clicking onto this WebPage every week or two will keep you up to date
on the vital issues, BUT, there are occasions when time is critical and we need to reach
you on the spot. Times when pending legislation needs a quick boost to get passed,
or in some cases to tell the powers that be that we must stop bad legislation
before it is passed!
Also, on occasion, we need a raft of letters to the editor, or to the head of a
resort, to let them know "We're mad as hell and we aren't going to take it
anymore," borrowing a great line from the movie, Network.
So, in order to reach dealers and floorpeople quickly, we are setting up a Dealer Network
to use internet e-mail to fire off urgent information to you to achieve quick and decisive
action. It is our goal to win some important battles in the future, and to do that, we
need your help.
We are asking that all dealers and floorpeople with internet access, to send us
your e-mail address and the name of the casino at which you work. And pass the word to
everyone you know to send along their addresses too. Every bit of information will, as
always, be held in the strictest confidence.

And, remember what Ben Franklin said to John
Hancock at the signing of the Declaration of Independence, 4 July 1776: "We
must indeed all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately."
That, by the way, is our new official slogan.
