Cynthia Fields after
being threatened along with other dealers that they
would be terminated if they tried to unionize at a
meeting conducted by Steve Wynn concerning his new tip
policy of taking 20% of dealers tips to subsidize
supervisors salaries October of 2006 filed a complaint
with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) resulting
in her being fired shortly thereafter.
Her wrongful termination
complaint was added to the existing NLRB complaints and
the case has been recently heard and waiting the judges
decision which may take several months. The hearing
looked very good for her but meanwhile Cynthia cannot
find a job and after taking a bold stand for what we
consider all tip earners and being out of work for a
long time resulting in a serious financial hardship at
this point, we ask that you would please take a moment
to donate by depositing what you can in her account
below; any amount will help.
She is a victim of Steve
Wynn’s wrath as many of you have experienced first hand.
The only way we made it this far is uniting and sticking
together and I believe that should include helping each
other in times of need. When this is all said and done
we can stand tall and proud that we took care of our
own, something Steve Wynn could never lay claim to.
We can tell you without
question; Cynthia Fields will be overwhelmingly
appreciative for anything you donate.
